Youth Rides with Martha

Martha will be putting together some youth rides for kids roughly 12-16 years in age. These rides are for kids who are already out there riding and have a quality bike that can handle Snowden and Cumberland trails. There is a limit to the number of riders per ride and all kids must be insured members of the RCCC. More details to follow. Contact Martha at vice-president@rivercitycyle.ca

Is 10$ or 20$ worth the price of helping to support your local trail network and bike club?

We want you! Maybe you join our rides/trail days or maybe you don't but if you run, walk, hike or cycle in this community you should join the River City Cycle Club. The objective of the River City Cycle Club is to actively promote cycling interests in Campbell River, bike lanes around town and trails around Campbell River. ...
Do you enjoy our Snowden trails? As trail stewards for the Snowden Demonstration Forest we are working to minimize the impact of logging in our beloved and well used trails system. Help us to help you. Supporting memberships are $20. Insured memberships are less at 10$ but you must also purchase a license from Cycling BC. The link will let you do both!

Snow is melting... Bring on 2017

It's been a heck of a winter,   it's time to get riding, but please be gentle on the trails until they thaw/dry out a bit!!!!    Our first club meeting of the year will be Jan 30, 2017.  Check out our events page or our facebook page for more information.    2017 is looking like a great year for the club.    We have almost entirely new faces on the executive, and are hoping to have a busy season.   We have set our Island Cup XC race date as March 19.   There is talk of another Beer and Burger fundraiser early this spring as well.   Looking forward to seeing everyone on the trails!
